Fresh from completion at Juniata Shops in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Conrail SD80MACs 4104 and 4102 are put to the test with a nearly 20,000-ton coal train in snowy conditions. The pair stalled at Galitzin, requiring helpers at the time, but otherwise performed flawlessly on this particular day. Train is seen at Summer Hill, PA on Conrail's Pittsburgh Line.
