The CSXT 300 looks a little different from its other AC powered GE wide cab brethren. The lack of a lightning bolt beneath the cab number makes this AC4000 an odd duck indeed as the locomotive is seen one afternoon as the lead unit for the "West Point local" train of A746. This local finds itself working customers 6 days a week as it traverses the former Western Railway of Alabama mainline between Montgomery, AL and West Point, GA.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
