| The DRGW K-28 class mikes were mean looking machines with the front mounted air pumps and low profile. This tight view emphasizes a wealth of details on the engine in the soft light of an overcast wintery day. Bill Colley the engineer checks his speed the old fashioned way, by looking at the ground go by. Dave and Jean Gross sponsored this recreation of a winter mixed train on the Silverton branch. |
