Remarks & Notes
CP T-40 has just exited the Detroit River Rail Tunnel, originally built by the MCR in 1910. Only one tube is used for regular train traffic as it was rebuilt in the early 1990s to handle excess height traffic (still not large enough for high cubed double stack). T-40 is a local interchange train that heads to Detroit as T-41 to interchange traffic with NS and CSX. It is one of 3 different interchange trains that run between Windsor and Detroit. The Essex Terminal Railway also crosses CP at this location.
