After making a run west to Parkdale, a Royal Gorge Route Railroad passenger train makes its way back into town along the Arkansas River towards the Santa Fe Depot where its passengers will disembark. Fitting that the 2238 is a former Santa Fe engine, albeit wearing Rio Grande inspired paint. On the other end of the train was CRRX C20, a former Virginia Railway Express RP40-2C.
