Remarks & Notes |
A beautiful mid-February day sees the Sandersville Railroad moving slowly down Tybee Street after working the Deepstep end of the line. It's business as usual for the train crew and locals alike as they each go about their daily routines. One may also notice the close proximity of the parked vehicle to the passing train. Both the crew and local resident gave each other a friendly wave as the train moved past. A heavy load of white clay, known as Kaolin, keep this shortline railroad very busy and extremely profitable. |
