A westbound freight is just hitting the east end of double track at Waterloo. The train is passing thru the control point at Hilltop. The Chicago Central began operations on December 24, 1985, and continued operating until the IC bought the property back in 1996. The IC ran it as a subsidiary until the Canadian National bought the IC in 1998.
