Factory fresh 'Conrail Quality' GE C40-8W units have been assigned to a Union Pacific's Wattis Plateau, Utah to Long Beach, California export coal train at Provo Yard on January 25, 1995. The trio were part of a fleet of 30 GE 'Warranty Protection Units' on loan to the Union Pacific Railroad for six months in 1995.
