VL80S electric 25 kV AC lokomotive (max power - 6520 kW, max speed - 100 km/h) heading freight train rounding "Shatrische" mountain on "Divnogor'e" highlands. VL80S is the most numerous electric locomotive in the world (if it's untrue correct please). In total there were produced 2746 two-sectional units of VL80S, most of which are now in operation. VL80S series were manufactured by Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Works between 1979 and 1995 and now VL80S series are in operation on the railways of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
