Burlington Northern SD9 No. 6102 switches Northtown yard at Minneapolis, Minnesota, in September 1984. Built in 1954, BN No. 6102 is former Great Northern No. 575, and is set up to operate long hood forward, which is why the apparent front of the locomotive doesn’t have BN’s iconic white stripes.
