Drifting Down the Hill

NS 9271 leads 22W down the mountain, the length of its consist stretched out along the entire west leg of Horseshoe Curve, around Allegrippis Curve, and beyond.

This angle was opened up by the recent deforestation conducted by the Railroader's Memorial Museum thanks to funds from a foundation grant. While the most popular angle is still fifty yards west looking across to the east leg, I set up near the 242 milepost in the middle of the arc.
