History repeated itself for the final time today at the one-time busy Bangor & Aroostook - now Central Maine & Quebec Railway - shop complex in Milo, Maine. The last-ever freshly-painted Bangor & Aroostook Railroad locomotive emerged from the paint booth this morning and was rolled out onto the transfer table. The shop complex has been sold to the Town of Milo and is to be razed. The historic occasion this morning saw CMQ's heritage tribute SD40-2F #9017 emerge to daylight for the first time.
