Union Pacific’s Dirt Train is approaching Wellington, Utah in this view. It’s single empty tank car was picked up on the Pierce Oil track in downtown Price, Utah. The local stopped there to set out a load of gasoline and pick up this empty. Ahead is the small yard at Wash, where the Dirt Train will drop the empty tank car and pick up loads of contaminated waste, trash and “dirt”. Then it will continue east to Mounds, make a left turn on the Sunnyside Branch and head up to the large waste disposal operation at East Carbon City.
