Remarks & Notes

Several lines of CSX locomotives, the majority of them being standard cab Dash 8's as well as a few widecabs & EMD switchers, sit silent in the manifest yard at the recently downgraded Russell Yard. With traffic tumbling in a falling economy, and the addition of brand new EPA Tier 4 compliant motors to the fleet, these motors have been sold off to General Electric, presumably for a potential rebuild program or for parts. In the background, manifest Q303-04 can be seen working the east end of Russell Yard before departing town for Queensgate Yard in Cincinnati.
