Rail activity is rapidly returning the the old NWP in Marin County. Here a SMART DMU makes a test run on it's way to downtown San Rafael. The Southern Pacific stopped running trains here around 1984. Yet soon, there will be more trains a day than has ever run before on this stretch of rail.
