| The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway 3 day Diesel Gala got off to a shaky start with bad weather on the first day,with rain showers alternating with short bursts of sun.Fortunately the sun made an appearance at Gotherington Halt to light up Class 37 No. D6948,looking immaculate as it made its first appearance on a service train following a 5 year restoration.Full marks to all who worked on her,returning the loco to how it looked in 1964 when delivered new to British Rail. |
