The sights of summer have arrived here in Crozier Canyon with the Milky Way and lightning glows being visible in the night sky. All seems peacefully as the warm summer air shifts from dry to wet from another monsoonal storm approaching. Soon, the tranquil feeling disappear as the sound of a heavy westbound BNSF train emerges out of the canyon. As the three locomotives pass by the former ATSF Crozier Station, the screeching sound of metal wheels on metal rail drown out the sounds of bats chirping and other wild life noises.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
