Remarks & Notes 
On June 27, 1979, Rio Grande's Tintic Local is pictured less than a mile from the Burgin gold mine, navigating desolate sage brush and cedar trees through the foothills of the East Tintic Mountains. The last train traversed these rails in 1986 and the rails and ties were recently abandoned.
