The new Norfolk Southern OAR/TRANSCAER safety train made its debut voyage from Altoona to Enola, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, April 23. The train consists of GP38–2 5642, a pair of classroom boxcars, and a series of tank cars that are used for hazardous materials training. Two more flat cars will join the train soon, with perhaps a little red surprise bringing up the rear also sometime soon :-) Train is seen crossing Shermans Creek in Duncannon, PA, Saturday afternoon!
