On the occasion of 100 year locomotive A 3/5 # 705 (fourcylinder compound 4-6-0, SLM 1904), on may 21th and 22th 2004, a steam train circulated over the Gotthard line to Bellinzona and back. On the return journey, A 3/5 # 705 and B 3/4 # 1367 reached Airolo with their train. For the run through the 15 kilometer long Gotthard tunnel, the "crocodile" Ce 6/8 II # 14253 made the lead.
