| CN SD70M-2 8899 leads train Q198 (Prince Rupert BC - Chicago IL) around the unforgettable curve. This is the crash site location of a derailment that happened a decade ago. This is where M301 derailed and spilled hundreds of thousands of litres of heavy oil into the lake of Wabamun. 43 cars derailed and spilled 700,000 litres of heavy bunker oil, along with 88,000 litres of pole treating oil. |
