A long BNSF intermodal train climbs the 2.1 percent grade at Bealville, California, on February 24, 2016. Leading the eastbound train is CREX No. 1323 and two BNSF Dash 9s, with the head end of the train approaching Allard horseshoe. The rear of the train with two more BNSF GEs operating as a DPU is negotiating the curved fill between Tunnels 1 and 2 below on the right.
