Going down? A westbound BNSF vehicle train has just met an eastbound BNSF stack at Bealville (seen above) and is dropping though the multiple curves below Allard on the afternoon of February 23, 2016. Much of the original Southern Pacific right-of-way built over Tehachapi Pass in California is still the same route used today.
