Remarks & Notes
Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr curves out of Wash, Utah, and is entering Wellington Canyon on May 12, 2006. Union Pacific’s LJP45 “dirt train” from Helper waits at the east end of Wash siding for the passenger train to pass, and will follow it to Mounds and the junction to the Sunnyside Branch.
