Amtrak's eastbound train #6, the San Francisco Zephyr, rolls across the Sacramento River drawbridge and into the old Southern Pacific passenger station on July 6th, 1976. Powered by SDP40Fs 584 and 626, the train will meet its westbound counterpart, #5, at the station (just behind the photographer).
