"Eastbound through Hawthorne"
An early morning train could be heard blowing for the crossings through town. Eager to see what this was I went trackside to find the Sparta job running East with a new crew on board. Here the train is seen cruising through Hawthorne with a set of leased GP38-2's for power. |
