| A V&T freight led by McCloud River #18 progresses north at American Flat around one of several horseshoe curves along the line. It's easy to lose your way along the the V&T, a line proclaimed to be the "crookedest shortline in America" with enough degrees of curvature between Virginia City and Carson City, NV to make 17 complete circles! |
