With mere inches to spare, an Amtrak Regional flies past a set of platform extenders at Princeton Junction, NJ traveling at well over 100 mph! The platform bridges were set up in 2014 to cover then out of service track #1 while improvements were made along a portion of the NEC from Trenton, NJ to New Brunswick which will see 160 mph speeds (as well as increased speeds for NJT on the outer tracks) by late 2017.
