It's not everyday that you come up on an Ex CNW GP9, Ex Rio Grande GP35, Ex Conrail GP38, Ex EJE SD38, and two other elder, classic locomotives on the same railroad...much less in 2014! Hartwell Railroad, known for it's antique fleet, is by far my favorite shortline railroad I've ever fanned! Here, we see HRT 4556, Ex CNW GP9, sitting in Lavonia, Georgia on a very much so pleasant fall morning.
