New England Central Railroad and the Vermont Rail System teamed up to operate a chartered Vermont Rail Action Network passenger special from Montpelier Jct. to St. Albans, Vermont on November 13. The train, consisting of NECR GP40-2CU 3809 and GP38 3845 is seen crossing the Georgia High Bridge and the Lamoille River with 5 Vermont Rail System streamlined cars and a generator car in tow as snow begins to fall.
