The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey "Blue Unit" circus train departed San Diego, California, on August 11, 2014, to begin its trip to Oakland. Power for the train was a pair of BNSF ES44DCs 7732 and 7704, along with Union Pacific AC4400CW 7249 and AC600CW 6956. The two UP diesels brought the train down to San Diego from Anaheim the previous week.)
