| The Budd M2s have played a crucial part in connecting two electric territories on the Northeast Corridor for the past 42 years. Connecting 3rd rail DC powered Grand Central Terminal with the Catenary powered Northeast Corridor, it eliminated the need for a change of power midway through a trip. Making these cars powerful assets for Metro-North. |
