| The east end of Rapids yard on a sunny April morning found a couple of GBW jobs ready to depart. First out will be 323 leading the Plover job and in the left distance you can see 309 waiting with the Biron job. The GBW Rapids yard was narrow and the amount of business at times had it chuck full traffic. With the return of these two jobs and the mid afternoon arrival of train 2 from East Winona this quiet scene will be a real crush as the crews try to shoehorn everything in and get number 2 reworked for an evening departure to Green Bay. |
