| These t-bolts are used to attach superheater units to the superheater header of NYS&W 2-8-2 steam locomotive No. 142. During the past few years since the loco has come back to service, the steam these t-bolts helped produced has brought smiles to many, many people. The hammer and gloves were used by me to descale the bolts prior to their re-use. |
