Metro Ports (the former Metropolitan Stevedore) operates a transloading facility on Pier G in Long Beach, California. To handle the trainloads of coal, petroleum coke, soda ash, potash and other commodities, Metro Ports utilizes two locomotives: MSTV 3GS21B-DE 0805 (built by NRE in September 2008) and MSTV SF30C 9503 (ex-ATSF 9503; nee-ATSF U36C 8733). Photo taken on private property with permission and full PPE.
