| A Cardiff (Wentloog) to Southampton working passes the site of the former Severn Tunnel Junction diesel depot.Much has changed here in the last twenty years - back then there would have been anything up to 20 locos visible in a shot such as this.The tower of St Marys Church is one constant.In a few moments the train will enter the Severn Tunnel itself,passing under the River Severn and emerging into England some two miles later. |
