65 years young, Western Maryland BL2 No. 82 charges upgrade from Tygart Junction with six loaded salt cars in tow. Maintaining a steady speed of 15MPH in notch six, this 1948 built first generation diesel is earning her keep today on West Virginia Central's scenic and obscure trackage in the eastern mountain counties of West Virginia.
