| Here is Amtrak #5, the California Zephyr rounding Arnold's Loop on Silver Zone Pass in far eastern Nevada. Something seems wrong here as this train is supposed to pass by here in the middle of the night. #5 is running over 11 hours late today due to a mudslide in Utah's Spanish Fork canyon and would loose still more time in Nevada due to crew problems. Those are Iowa Pacific cars Baton Rouge, Scenic View and Colorado Pine on the rear end. |
