Amtrak #3, the Southwest Chief, passes Amtrak's Redondo Junction facility on its way to Los Angeles, just about five miles ahead. P42DCs 131 and 207 have just brought the nine-car train over the Los Angeles River on the bridge in the background, which also crosses the Alameda Corridor (used by both BNSF and UP to access the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach).
