| Seaboard Coast Line GP40 #1608, leading B23-7 #5151 and U33B #1721, has one of the hottest trains on the railroad (piggyback train #320) down to walking speed as the engineer navigates street running. This problem was finally eliminated when a long-desired railroad bypass was constructed. #1608 was built May 1970 on order #7229 and later became Seaboard System/CSX #6762. Unit was chosen for CSX MofWay "Pumpkin Fleet" and re# CSX #9714 |
