A day after the former State Government-owned CityRail and CountryLink passenger services were officially divided up into Sydney Trains (metropolitan) and NSW trains (InterCity and Regional), newly-refurbished and repainted four-car V Sets V16 and V1 combine to work N150 Newcastle to Sydney express, seen here arriving in Sydney Central. The cars had officially re-entered service the previous day, running an afternoon return service to Katoomba. These cars are the first in the new NSW Trains livery, and the full set consist is (V16) DIM8055, DIT8182, DIT9104, DIM8078, (V1) DIM8083, DIT9164, DIT9159 and DIM8070.
