On a clear March afternoon, Union Pacific 5275 leads the MRORV down the Donner Pass Route. Here the train soars high above the Bear River Valley located at Yuba Gap, deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Snow is patchy on the surrounding peaks do to an unusually mild winter.
