| Amtrak Train #583 is a very special train on every other day because it uses Amtrak's Amfleet low-level cars. Its usual power is one P42DC on the South end, and one NPCU (Non-Power Control Unit) Cabbage Car. This photo shows Amtrak Train 583 departing Northbound out of Santa Fe Depot on a late Saturday afternoon. It left right on time (2:40pm PST) and heads North to LAUPT.    |
