Appalachia coal railroading in the winter, nuthin' finer! Here, an NS coal train comes off the Gilbert Branch loaded and takes the west leg of the wye, which will lead to the Pokey main. The Gilbert Br. is strictly a coal hauling route that allows coal off the P-D District a direct southern route to the Pocahontas Dist.
