| Ever on the look out for more traffic the WC handled unit ballast trains for GTW for a few years. These originated near Virginia, MN and moved DWP to Duluth, WC Duluth to GTW Chicago then on to track work projects on the GTW. Power was usually solid GTW during the summer/fall of 1995 and normally a load and empty was traveling the WC on any given day. GTW 5929, 5851 and 5730 have the loads slowing for a crew change at Subway Road just north of the big yard at North Fond du Lac. |
