Remarks & Notes
The Home Stretch. A couple of inbound Commuter Trains are on the final leg of their trips from the suburbs to Boston's North Station. 172 is on its way in from Newburyport while further back, 222 is coming from Andover by way of the Wildcat Branch and the Lowell Line. Both trains are about go through the interlocking at Tower A and then cross the Drawbridges over the Charles River, before entering North Station. The new North Bank Bridge allowed this photograph to be taken and is a welcome addition to the many rail photography locations in Boston.
