Under a breathtaking sky, Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 and its train, Employee Appreciation Special O-NEBE1-31, speed east across northern Arizona and passes under one of the Santa Fe's iconic signal bridges as it speeds across northern Arizona on the ATSF’s Seligman Sub. The train is heading from Los Angeles CA to Chicago IL, but on this day is listed as only Needles CA to Belen NM.
And while the clouds here are beautiful, further east, beyond Gallup NM, this train will encounter some monsoonal storms before tying up for the night in Belen.
