Remarks & Notes
150 loaded coal hoppers destined for Pier 9 in Newport News have just started their assault over Alleghany grade, after acquiring the Ronceverte helper. Here, the single ES44AC helper illuminates the signal at Brown's Mill, east of town. The helper will assist to Tuckahoe, the summit of the grade, and return west to Ronceverte.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
