Remarks & Notes
FMG SD70ACe #715, EMDX SD70ACe #1210, and FMG SD70ACe #709 locomotives are lined up at Progress Rail undergoing testing prior to customer deliveries. The opportunity to catch these units together was one I could not pass up. The Fortescue Metals Group units are bound for Port Hedland in Western Australia where they will haul iron ore. The EMDX SD70ACe Fleet units are bound to be tested on a yet to be determined railroad. This locomotive is proudly assembled and painted by the folks of Progress Rail Locomotive Assembly in Muncie, IN. Brass models of this locomotive will be offered by Overland Models.

An exclamation attributed to TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, it is this eponymous expression of which certain images convey man and machine versus nature . . .

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
