The aspens across the Animas River are a golden yellow and the snow-capped San Juan Mountains loom in the distance as Denver & Rio Grande Western 2-8-2 478 brings a five-car passenger train slowly toward the south end of Needleton siding. This recreation is courtesy of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad's annual Fall Photo Train.
